My miracle.... November 20, 2009

My miracle today is the amazing doctors and nurses that perform surgery each and every day... Finding out you have to have surgery is daunting and scary... I was not a huge fan when I found out... I know that it is necessary though, and I have confidence that everything will go smoothly... I have confidence that they will fix what they are supposed to fix and I will be back up and running like normal in no time... I am thankful that these doctors and nurses have studied so hard in school to be able to do things like this for people like me... What a miracle it is to have such a competent team of doctors on my side...

My miracle today is good friends... What a blessing it is to have good friends in my life who boost me up and help me to be the best that I can be... We are going to see New Moon tonight and I am so super excited!! Not only am I excited to see the movie and gawk and drool over Jacob, I am even more excited to spend that time with people that I love... I am so thankful that I have such good friends...

My miracle today is lunchables... How convenient are these little things?!? When I'm in a rush or don't feel like making a sandwich for the boys, I just pull one of these out of the fridge and several great things happen!! First the boys get super excited and can't wait for lunch time to come... Second I can guarantee that every bit of lunch will be eaten without one reminder of what we should be doing at the table... Third is that I have happy and healthy and full tummy boys... This is my miracle today...

My miracle today is all of the people who work so hard to keep kids safe and healthy and happy... Sometimes it is hard to see all of the hard work that goes into raising kids, but I know for a fact that it can be extremely exhausting... I don't want to see kids suffer, and I am thankful for the people who devote their careers to making sure this doesn't happen... What a miracle it is for everybody involved when somebody can step in and help to make things better...

My miracle.... November 16, 2009

My miracle is my vacuum... I love having a clean house... I hate having dirt in my house... I love that whenever I feel like my floors are dirty, I can just grab my trusty vacuum and away the dirt and yuck goes!! As gross as it is, I realize that dirt is a part of life that I can't change... I can change if it stays in my home or not... Thank heavens for the miracle machine known by most as the vacuum!!!

Miracle....Day 77

My miracle.... November 15, 2009

My miracle is my religion... Having not been able to attend church services the last couple of weeks, it was a nice change to be there today... I felt the spirit so strongly while I was there, and I was recharged to be able to handle the week ahead of me... I am thankful for the knowledge that I have of the truth on the earth today... I am thankful for the strength it gives me... I am thankful for the peace it brings... What a blessing to be able to go to church each week and renew all of these blessings for my life...

My miracle.... November 14, 2009

My miracle is IV antibiotics... I somehow have gotten a staph infection in my leg, and they can become very serious very quickly... I was instantly put on IV antibiotics to get some medicine in as fast as possible... I also had to have my leg cleaned out to try and get as much infection out as possible... Although I will be on an antibiotic for a long time, I have a strong sense of peace that everything is going to just fine...
